2 Chronicles 25: 9 “But Amaziah said to the man of God, ‘And what will happen to the three thousand three hundred kilos of silver that I have paid to the Israelite army?” And the man of God replied, “The Lord can give his Majesty much more than that.”
Amaziah was a king of Judah who had a large army, but to face an enemy he decided to hire other soldiers, who God did not approve of supporting. He was warned by a man of God not to send that other army for which he had invested so much. Amaziah asked him what would happen to his bad investment, and the man of God replied: “God can give you much more than that.”
The Lord does not take into account the size of our bad decisions, nor the effort that we have badly invested, or the things in which we put hope and did not work; because whether it is money badly invested, wasted effort, or any other type of loss due to bad decisions, we will be restored.
The Lord calls us to trust and obey Him first, but the time comes where He will not only restore what was lost, but He will also give you much more than that.
Let us pray like this: “God the Father I proclaim that I will obey you and trust you before any other resource. I declare that everything lost is restored to me and I receive from your hand much more than everything badly invested, in the name of Jesus. Amen”.
