We focus our ministry on spiritual direction and the preaching of prayer courses and retreats. God’s original intent was that we experience the oneness relationship known throughout eternity by the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. He created individuals but purposed to make them one, as He is one. But the fall into sin described in Genesis disrupted God’s design. We were meant to live a life of absolute abundance.
Pastors Moe Da’Maaq and Darius Wallis worked hand-in-hand with other leaders to bring the teachings of Jesus into the online church space. By consolidating the Youtube Channel LoveMagicWorks with the PrayersHelp branch of the Disciples of Christ denomination, a new project was born. After a few months, and amid a global pandemic, our devotional newsletter grew to serve thousands of faithful readers.
To be led by the Holy Spirit in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible by nurturing and affirming the God-ordained institution of the family and proclaiming biblical truths worldwide.
Ultimately, we believe the purpose of life is to know and glorify God through an authentic relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. This purpose is lived out first within our own families and then extended, in love, to an increasingly broken world that desperately needs Him. Through our radio broadcasts, websites, simulcasts, conferences, interactive forums, magazines, books, counseling, and much more, Focus on the Family equips parents, children, and spouses to thrive in an ever-changing, ever-more-complicated world.
THE FALL SEPARATED US FROM GOD, BUT JESUS RESTORES
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”— John 17:20-21
SIN SEPARATES US FROM ONE ANOTHER, BUT JESUS MAKES US ONE
“For He, Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.“— Ephesians 2:14
IN CHRIST, WE ARE MINISTERS OF RECONCILIATION.
“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.“— 2 Corinthians 5:20
