Let’s be honest for a moment: the Bible is huge. It can be difficult to know where to turn when you are dealing with a specific challenge in your life. Although we should always be learning, growing, and developing our relationship with God and our understanding of the Scriptures, it can be very helpful to memorize a few key passages, passages that you can call to mind at a time when you need them.
These are a few verses that have greatly impacted my life and have helped me grow in my spiritual maturity and relationship with Christ.

Isaiah 40:24-31
“To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One.
Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?

Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.
Why do you complain, Jacob?
Why do you say, Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord;
my cause is disregarded by my God”?
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Powerful Prayer
The Lord delivers me out of every trouble and distressing situation.
Because of this, I am a shield to those who lack the strength to stand against the devil’s evil schemes.
He preserves my life from the attacks of the enemy and blesses me with His favor and abundance.
He sustains me when sickness comes to take me from His work. He restores me to my true, energetic, and healthy self.
Father, I choose to show compassion to the poor.
I choose to be generous and giving. I have shown myself to be merciful and kind to those in need.
From my heart, I have advanced Your kingdom.
Therefore, preserve me, Father, and keep me alive.
Deliver me in times of trouble. Show Your blessings now in this life.
Bless me upon the earth, and deliver me from the will of my enemies.
Thank You, Father, for choosing me to be Your child.
You cause me to approach You boldly, and You have given me an eternal dwelling within Your courts.
I shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your inheritance now and forevermore.
Help me to stay focused, Father, that I may always walk in the awareness that the blessings of Your house are mine to enjoy.
