Words Have Power for Good and Evil

Every one you come across is facing some kind of battle in their life. You have no idea the light you can bring to someone’s life. It is time for the believers to step in and speak life and hope to people.

Words can uplift, encourage, and inspire and they can also destroy, depress and kill someone. Be careful what you say and how you say it.

The Bible also talks about the power of God’s Word. By His Word He created the entire universe. Jesus is referred to as the “Word of God” in John 1:1. We also know that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, “breathed out” by Him and “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

“Evil words destroy one’s friends; wise discernment rescues the godly.”

Proverbs 11:9

Prayer

Dear God, come into my thoughts and renew them, so that you may also like my words. Lord, please help me to check my heart before saying words. Teach me to be full of your Spirit and loving words. God, enable us to use our words as an instrument of your love and saving grace. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
