God is a faithful God. Experience the meaningful intimacy God intended and discover what he can do in your heart and in your marriage when you choose to show respect his way.
The couple that prays together (and for each other) stays together. Praying for your marriage is essential to having a thriving marriage and to seeing God’s power in your marriage.
In Matthew 19:4-6, we learn that marriage is a gift from God.
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and said, for this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”Matthew 19:4-6
Heavenly Father, thank you that you are our creator, you know us better than anyone else. You brought us together and you have promised that you have plans and a purpose for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Remind us that you are the center of our relationship and that you are the one who watches over our future. May we look to you for wisdom and guidance. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.339
